clutch bell seized
hey guys,
i blew a thrust bearing i guess it was about time, so i took the clutch bell off and all the spacers and i took the time to loosen the clutch 3/4 turn(to to have catch sooner) i put it all back together, and make sure everything was okay, i did notice my 0.3 MM play was missing.... i didnt think anything of it so it put the engine in and figure that if theres no play the clucth is always engaged... did i losen it to much??? or what other things could cause this??? if i losen the screw just to crack it it spins freely... any ideas??? Thanks |
The clutch spring nut may be touching the clutch bell. You may see the marking on the inside of the bell.

adjust your spacers so you get the .3mm play again. The new thrust bearing is thicker so you need to compensate.
