Well guys, this weekend was the 2nd/last stage of 2010 Chilean Nationals for 1/10th Nitro Class.
I attended again with the G4RS09 car, RB engines and OS pipe. I fixed every problem i had last race, this is my second race with the G4RS09 chassis and i must say its a great and solid car, my prior problems ended being 40% bad luck and 60% mistakes in maintenances (my hand and must be recognized).
This race was 3 x 10 minutes qualifies, 20 minutes lower mains and 30 minutes A-Main.
I attended without much expectations, basically trying to do a feet-on-ground race avoiding stupid mistakes. By end of qualifies i got TQ ...
During A-Main i battled first 5-6 minutes on front pack (top 5) but after first pit move i started to get on solid pace ... by minute 10 i got the lead and started tu push harder as i felt confident with the car.
I have to admit i was not the fastest on the main straight (195 feet long aprox.) and i was piting just on 5 minutes mark, but by end of race i got 1st place by 4 laps and with new track record for the layout we used
Thanks for the tips and opinions you gave me through emails and PM's,
