E-clip question.

E-clip question.
While working on a local racer's Mugen the other day I noticed something really cool about his car. The e-clip that holds the two speed on had a tab on it, bent over at 90 degrees so you could quickly and easily remove and replace it by hand. Unfortunately he said he got the car used that way. Anyone know where I could find such e-clips?

I would buy a pack. Anyone know of a domestic source?

There you are. You're lucky I didn't steal the one off of your car

Sweet. With all the second gear stripping problems the TC guys have I would think they all would want one. With another two speed housing and bearing set all ready assembled with a new gear and one of those clips I could swap one out in less than a lap I bet.

If any shop has some old SMP Slide inventory might have some of those clips.
They thought of that 10-12 years ago.
Dremelboy??!!

These e-clips are great!
Once you use them, you will not use the standard e-clip again.
They snap off very quickly, and if you are racing, strip a spur gear, it will get you back on the track in no time.
I bought all of mine from Kamikaze, and wish they would have been available years ago.
Well worth the money.
