I need longer axles for my NTC3
 

As the title states. Does anyone make them or is there anything that will fit from another car or is it going to be trial and error on my part? :confused:

Are you trying to turn your car into an on-road truggy or are you trying to mount some 1/8 wheels on your car so you can drop a big block engine in it:confused:

I'm turning it (two, actually) into electric rally cars. I picked these up pretty cheap but have no interest in nitro hence the electric conversion. I've pretty much got the suspension figured out already. I would just like to find some longer driveshafts, especially for the rear, so they don't pop out of the outdrive. The front looks like it will be okay but another 1/8" wouldn't hurt on all 4 corners. You can actually get alot of ground clearance out of these things! Since it's a nitro on road to start, I figured I would ask here.

Ok well try this....take one out and measure it...then head over to towerhobbies.com and look for something close to the size you want.

Once upon a time there was a rally conversion for the NTC3. Dont remember who made it. That rally stuff was alot bigger on the other side of the atlantic.
Check ebay.

You know that the origonal tc3 is electric right. Anywho, I am pretty sure the diff outdrives are longer on the electric version. Maybe those will make up the difference. Not shure though...

Why not just buy a E-TC3 and do the rally conversion? I dont think the NTC3 is a good platform for the rally due to the limited suspension travel. I have done the rally conversion to my ETC3 and its almost an inch taller that my NTC3.

Because I have a brand new roller and another roller that cost almost nothing. That and I like the aluminum chassis vs. the plastic. I've seen a couple BL conversions and I'd like to do the same. The suspension actually has alot of travel with a couple of minor mods, the tricky part is finding shocks. I found a set of center bones that I'm pretty sure will fit the bill. If not, the stock ones should suffice until a big hit or something!
