sugar water is what our track uses...
not sure of mix ratio specifics.

granted we are not spraying it we have an "applier" that dribbles a 4' wide path roughly. works very well.

we in the kansas city area also use the same as lincoln only we spray ours i believe that we mix 30lbs of granulated sugar and 2 2litre bottles of orange soda and 2 2litres of root beer to 50 gallons of water and spray it on the track we stir it and add the ingrediants as we add the water if you need a little more traction add a few more bottles of soda 1 or 2 of each flavor should do we've been using this for 10 to 20 years in the heart of america series

Default track compound ?

the formula is 5 gal. methonal,32 oz. mtn dew suryp,32 oz. castro oil . the methonal is a thinning agent, it is hard to find and is not cheap. i am looking for something else to replace the methonal .
