When assembling the diff one of my outdrives binds in the diff housing when you rotate it.I cant find what is causing this the part looks fine and I dont see any flashing in the housing.will this wear in or am I missing something?

Make sure the center screw that holds the bevel gear is not backed out and also thread lock this screw. it will vibrate loose and bind like hell if you don't.

the diff is not together yet ,the bevel gear has not been attached.I insert the outdrive into the housing and when you rotate it, it starts to spin freely then binds.this is only on one half the other half is fine.

Yeah, I had some stuff that I had to take care of and also my homie Wayne wasn't going to make it either. I figured that you guys would represent us well and you did so. My presence was not neede after all.

On a second note I heard the track was alot of fun. The recent changes made the track more High speed and flowing.....funny though the laptimes are basically the same

During the manufacturing process sometimes there is excess material left over inside the diff case. This is NOT a problem however, you can use an xacto knife of something of sorts to remove or just run it in.

It won't just spin freely because of the x-ring that goes onto the outdrive once it's inserted. You checked for flashing in the diff housing? Tried switching the outdrive to the other side?

There is no flashing in the housing, it must be defective because the outdrive spins freely in the other housings,i'll have to order a new housing bummer!this is holding up my build. Thanks for your help anyway.

are you saying that you can't turn the outdrive at all? Is it stuck? It can be a little tight and be ok.
