Default heavy car?

hi guys,
just wondering what's the weight of yr 733?

mine weighs a whopping 1815g! race ready (shell, 58mm tires, no fuel, bls451 servos, 1450mah LiFe battery). body shell weighs 105g, (normal or heavy?)

how do you guys get yr car to weight about 1750g or less?
using low profile servos shld reduce significantly and maybe a smaller battery?

Well, it seems like most of you didn't have this problem on this one-way bearing.. then I must admit that I am not having very good luck.... So I will take your advises and tube the bearing and test run again.

Thanks to all of you on recommanding different type of lube, will check in HK (where I'm from) and see which is popular here.

I know they did change the inside of these bearings, because now (as you can also see in your pictures) the inside is red coloured. This used to be black.
I to have a new red coloured one way as spare in my box, but haven't used it yet.
at least thanks for the warning, I will check it regularly when I will start using it...

At the Nats I was 1740 with race ready car. Twister tires and Airtronics radio gear. I do not use the receiver box cover though.

I just got a oneway from serpent and it has the red inside and it is dry. First oneway I got with no grease in it.

With the new one-ways I use the associated diff ball grease. The clear stuff. We have found this to work pretty well. Lube it about ever hour of use. For the first time give it a good layer. I will say that Serpent America has an optional one-way that the aluminium part is orange. I think these last longer, however they are not needed. Just keep the stock one lubed. Also not sure how much the optional one cost, since I know that is the next question.

So don't forget to lube it before first usage...

Isn't any form of grease actually to "sticky" for the needles?
Or is the grease you are talking about more a sort of an oil?
And doesn't the one way lube work good enough?, or do you need to relube it to often then.
I know the one way lube works perfect one the "older" type of one ways....

On the new ones the fit is tigher and the oil just breaks down from the heat. It also depends on the air temps. In Florida the temps are very high and humid. The grease has been working well, but just for the tight fit one-ways. The older ones work great with the normal oil and same for the option ones.

I have been using the serpent oneway lube with no problems in the past but since the serpent drivers are using the associated grease I'm ordering some and will use it with this new oneway. All the oneways I have got in the past came with a dab of grease in them and I just keep lubing them with the oneway lube before the next race.
