My lipo and regulator will be here tomorrow. Somewhere I have some titanium pivot balls, if I can find them. I'll weigh it after the battery change, but I think the JR servos are heavy, too.

Do you think that the battery nimh is my problem?

Hi Paolo...Good to see.....I was kind of figuring that's where the weight should be. I really like the looks of this car, and if Serpent comes out with a new electric, I will buy both for next year. Need to have both cars from the same stable.

733 Loving this car
This car is Bad-ASS. It is fast and so far has handled BETTER than my previous car. It is very reactive meaning for me it seem to transfer weight more rapidly. The sweet spot really is larger than the 720, in that I was able to run different settings and still achieve good handling. The car is easy to setup. I am not the worlds greatest mechanic so for me this is very important.
Tweaking the swaybars have NEVER been easier!!!
Hits:
*You truly get MORE than what you pay for...Seriously
Sexy, sleek look
Excellent handling
Large sweet spot
NO hop ups needed
Very OPEN look
Support - EXCELLENT
Brakes are well ventilated (The keep cooler) less brake fade
Misses
-Wider bumper needed for the US (The narrow bumper allows for the wheels to absorb all the impact)
Changing the rear inner camber link is a bit difficult.
Final rating 9.5!!!
Great car.

I just repaired my fuel tank and I took the advice given already about the soldering iron but I added a step.
I took a pair of large channel lock pliers or you can use a C-clamp and I held the hinge in place. I put the pin in place to keep the hole from deforming. I used a small flat tip iron and melted the plastic around the break. Then I used some flexible plastic (tackle box inserts) and melted it with a cigarette lighter so it could drip around the broken area. Last I took a dremel and filed away any excess plastic so the tank will close fully.
Trick to get the spring back in.............zip tie the lid in place, push the spring in with a 5mm driver, slide the pin thru and that's it. It was really easy for me.
My .02 cents
