This is just a website ad so this is not solid news although with this new rule this could be just a lighter version of the 733 if that was the case im guessing serpent would offer a upgrade kit so i think your Te will be fine for awhile.
But we will have to wait and see

the press release has been leaked on facebook. it is new 200mm body, and new 1/8th to follow , the new 200mm body looks nice.

not sure on an actual new chassis, something has to be happening, wiht the Weight rules for Efra.

The weight rules for EFRA only come into play for the 2013 season, NOT for 2012!....
And even those rule changes are now under discussion, and will probable be adapted for the 2013 season.

I have to agree. I think they will place the 733 TE on a diet. If you look at Serpent's website; they have already released lightweight replacement parts. I believe The 733 te will be around for awhile longer.

Going back on Serpent's history when the released the 710 Team Edition it was the last model in that series and then shortly afterwards they released the 720... Mind you might be alot different anyway, just things to get weight down for new EFRA rules in 2013
