looks like the trans, and a radio flex link setup for the right rear radio tray to 2 speed post.

the 2 speed setup looks like it uses the existing 2 speed shaft, and the part numbers for the 2 speed and one way holders are different from the 966 SL8 box.

you would get more stability under braking, more steering, but a slower transaction of weight transfer, almost a Lazy car.

thanks mate.it's just that yesterday the rear end was a little twitchy under braking that's all. was thinking of trying a diff in the front just to see what it will do.the other thing is whether or not the tank lids from the 811/966 and the 733 are the same in size,if they are may use one on the 733,what brand are the RX cells you use also?

i had a typo on that. i havent been well last couple of days. and racing today wasnt great. more droop can make the car twitchy under braking. not the way i said before. i thnk i jumped the gun in my head as i was writing. haha. i use the IP 1450mah LiFe.
Cheers.

I looked at the setup sheet. Looks like both the 1st and 2nd spur gear have drop a tooth. 1st goes from 58 to 60 2nd goes from 53 to 55. The pinions stayed the same.

Pass you soon...

Default Rear outer ball joint binding??

When trying to run the rear upper link on lowest and most inner hole it puts the outer joint at such an angle that it binds even at ride height,
This is with the outer joint on the inner hole on the upright and with no shims so with 4mm shims like i have seen with some setups the joint woould be binding all the time, is this just how they are run?????

you will need to run a cone washer underneath, and i believe a ground down head of the screw. this prevents the plastic cup to bind under and over . if you see where it binds, you will know.
