Serpent 733 1/10 200mm touring

The voltage cut-off for a 2S LiFe is 7.2V. When finished charging the voltage quickly drops to 6.6 ~ 6.8V.
A fresh NiMh pack, can even go over 7V.
Now you might think that your then better of with a NiMh pack, but I did a check with an IP 1600mAh NiMh an an IP 1450mAh LiFe, both charged and put under load of 1A.
The first 5 minutes, the NiMh had a slight advantage in voltage level, but after 10 minutes, the voltage level of the NiMh already dropped below the level of the LiFe, which for a very long time had a continuous level of about 6.4V....
Because LiFe has a higher output voltage compared to NiMh, you will also have better runtime with it, compared to a same capacity NiMh pack.
Because of the lower internal resistance of LiFe, you will also have more juice left for your steering servo, while under breaking... (that's the theorie, but if it will make you faster.... )

You'll want to look into the drive ratio. Like all touring cars, the 733 is designed to be run with a split (front tires smaller than rear tires). When running rubber, the front tires will be the same diameter as the rear tires. You will have to play with the pulleys to get a good, close to 1:1 drive ratio.

- reduce rear toe-in to 1,5 degr. or even less (will get you more speed)
- harder spring at the rear
- softerspring at the front
- harder diffoil at the rear (will get you more on power turn out)
- more droop at the rear (alot more)
- less droop at the front
- harder tire at the rear
- softer tire at the front
- rear shocks harder (higher (harder) oil)
- front shockoil harder (harder for initial turn in tight corner)
- more upright caster at the front (initial turn in for tight corner)
- rear schocks more vertical
- front shocks more horizontal (will redice initial turn-in)
Or remove the DLS and get racing the proper way
Wish you the best, greetz JW

hello guys, one question
on 720 days, i used to apply one droop of one-way lube on my owb
on a regular basis. Never had an owb failure at last 4 years.
On the 733, it seems to me that the bearing comes alot tighter to the shaft than the one on the 720, is it a different part number? (its the same silver color and black inside not red)
