Default HPI Star .12 SS Engine tuning questions

Nitro Star 12R SS engine

Can anyone provide some tips on how to REALLY tune this engine? Examply of some needle settings or some persona steps on how you tune your engine?

My new RS4 3 SS kit is very sluggish when I give it throttle. I am on about the 4th tank.

Thank you

well each engine is different, even 2 of the same engine BUT you are right the throttle on that engine is a slight sluggish so lean the low end needle no more than 3/16 of a turn and do it in 1/16th of a turn increments. As for tips, look for smoke at full throttle, if none you are too lean on highend (but since you aren't done breaking it in don't do it now) I tune my highend in 1/8th turn increments and 1/16th turn
