1/8 & 1/10 Nitro On Road

Whats the general consesus out there about which car is the best all around 1/8 & 1/10 nitro car.

Good

There really is no best car. There's alot of cars that are capable of winning with the right setup and driver. I do think Mugen has the toughest car as far as durability but any of the top cars are good imo. I have read that x-ray is really good for 10th scale but have not raced one.

1/8th and 10th on road

This is total preference, and parts availiabiltiy.
I have two Mugen MRX4X, one Serpent 966, and one Evolva, and when set up right, they are all good cars.
In 10th scale I have one MTX4R, two RRRs, and again, when set up right, they equal.
It all depends how what your local shop carries as far as parts.
This discussion has gone on many, many times, and you will get answers from every one that their car is the best..
Check what is run at your local track, and if parts are easy to get.
Even a great car is worthless if you can not get parts for it when needed

As a club racer I've raced an MTX-3, MTX-4, MTX-4R, and an NT1. The MTX-4R performed similarly to the NT1 but the NT1 is nicer for wrenching on and quality of the documentation (especially the manual about tuning). I'm now an Xray fan but the Mugen was good stuff.

My impression is that the Mugen, the Xray, the Serpent, and the Kyosho are all great in 1/10th.

How about you try the new Pursuit SPT1 1/10 Scale sedan race car, came to 301 Raceway and looking for Chris tosolini drive it on the Capital classic race

Did not mean to not include the new Pursuit 10th scale, as I do not own one, or have had the chance to drive one, but I have heard good things about them.

Thanks for your answers guys. I guess one is as good as another if they are both set up correctly. I think I'm leaning towards the Xray NT1 as I have a 808 buggy and the quality and Hudy set up book is fantastic.
