Default MTX-4 parts specific question

Hey all you nitro experts! I was wondering if there was a Mugen part number for the gasket on the fuel tank? Mine has dried and will not keep air from leaking. Please don't tell me I have to buy a whole new tank!

Thanks very much!

The Mugen book lists either a tank #T0808 or a new lid for the tank # H0864. Hope this might help. I was looking at mine and it looks like it might be a big o-ring. You might be able to try that.

Hey thanks guys! I tried the lhs with no luck. Found T0808 at several places online but will look for the lid. That is a good idea. I might try the hardware store too for an o-ring. They usually don't have anything for my hobby needs though.

Try auto parts for o-rings. They will come closer to having what you need o-ring wise, unless you have a Harbor Freight. They have all sizes o-rings fairly cheap too.

Here is a link to a cap. $8.00Au

Thanks kidsid99! We DO have a Harbor Freight nearby! I don't need to get a lid from AU, Nitrohouse has them for US8.07. I will try for the gasket first since it will be way cheaper and I won't have to wait for shipping. I'll let you know how HF goes. Thanks!

Default Update

Hey all,

I didn't really need 252 different sized o-rings but I found a misc. pack of seals and rings for 1.99. Found one that fit my lid and it fixed my problem. Ran the ole Red Dot for the first time since last season. Fired right up and ran like a champ!

Thanks for all your help!
