Ofna starter box

Ofna starter box
Does ANYONE have any idea where I can find actual picture(s), or can anyone else out there that sees this thread that has this same starter box possibly do me a HUGE favor and take some pics of the way their box is wired and email it to me at [email protected] NOT just text describing how to correctly wire a ofna 10249 chrome top starter box WITH power panel? Because I am trying to put my box back together and I just took the box and the wiring harness I got from nitrohouse to a guy at one of my lhs's; and he couldn't seem to figure out and had no idea what goes where either. Also could someone let me know if they sent me the correct wiring harness for this box? The wiring harness for this box they sent me has 2 fairly long positive and negative leads with "eyelets" attached to the ends,; it also has 2-3 white "connectors" one of which has a yellow wire(s) to it; and the part number for this harness they sent me is 92565; let me know if its the right or wrong one so I can get after them for it if need be. Thanks for any help anyone out there can provide for me.

Can anyone out there help me on this one? I meant to say also that if u don't want to email the pics to me, then please, by all means post any pics u have of the wiring diagrams/box u may have to this thread so that I can see it at some point as like I said I would greatly appreciate it.

I found exploded diagram on Nitrohouse.com Hope this is what you're looking for. Click on little picture.

Well, I just looked at that diagram, and I was right. The only diagram that I see is the one like I mentioned before; for the box assembly itself; but NOT the wiring schematic/diagram(s). So I dunno. Im gonna try calling Ofna again and see if they can point me in the right direction.

Someone suggested this diagram from another thread. Give it a try.

Hey Matt, post a pic of the starterbox that you have,
with the top open and the new harness beside it also.
If it's got a power panel you don't want to wire the box
up like Ofna did in the first place. The power panel should
be wired so the switch turns the power to it on and off.
If not it will drain the battery('s) if the battery('s) if not
disconnected when not in use. It's a shame that no one
at your l.h.s. knows how to wire up a starterbox.

Matt I have been repairing and rewiring alot of starterboxes
latley. I have rewired all of my boxes along with all of my
buddies and there friends boxes. I have bought ten starter
boxes off of rc sites for sale threads in the last month. I was
given the same story by most of the people that I bought
them from, "the motors are getting tired" or "It just doesn't
have the power it used to". All but two p.o.s. Losi boxes were
as strong as new after rewireing them. Running the power to
the motor's through a switch is asking for trouble. Tamiaya(spelling)
connectors are junk and are the reason I got my hands on many
good starterboxes for $25 or less. A couple of feet of 12ga.and14ga.
wire, Deans connectors along with a 30amp relay, you will have a
great running starterbox. Use the switch on the neg. side to connect
the bump switch to the relay and the power panel ground wire.
I wish that you lived closer, I would gladly help you get your box
running properly.

See though, my box is a bit different than the one u have because it does not have the "terminals" on the outside of the box on the side. I will try and take a pic when I get back later today if I have a chance to so that u can see what mine looks like. I meant to do it yesterday, but I just did not have a chance to, and thanks guys for all the help here.
