R40 Not Shifting

R40 Not Shifting
I just got my R40 and took it to the track today and couldn't get it to shift. I assembled it correctly and everything. I tried everything I could think of. I even had 2 racers that know tons of stuff help me out, and they couldn't get it to work. Anyone got any ideas? It seems like the 2 speed springs are too hard I've never seen any this size before. Perhaps I got a defective part? Maybe the clutch shoes? I noticed it doesn't make a complete circle, it's more like a rounded square. Could someone get my a picture of their assembled clutch shoes?

Nick,
Mine wasn't shifting either, or so I thought..
It appears the stock setting is too loose and the car shifts immediately, and you don't even know it..
tighten up the screws one turn and see what happens. Also, if the gap is too tight in regards to the shoe to bellhousing clearance, then it'll be damn near impossible to tell it shifts.
