Default 2.4 GHZ Futaba and Aluminium receiver box

Hi there,

just got me a nice shiny aluminium box for my 1/8th. Back home I recognised that my Futaba 2.4Ghz receiver has an external and an internal antenna. The internal one is a little hump on the plastic housing. If I mount the receiver inside the aluminium box, the internal antenna will probably be shielded and the external one will be on its own in order to receive the signals.
Has anybody some experience with a set-up like this? Will it work or glitch?

Thanks for your feedback,

Stefan
