A quick check on your engine bearing.

A quick check on your engine bearing.
Hold the tip of the SG shaft and move it slowly in sideway direction, not rotate, not back and forth but sideway. If the bearings are worn, you can feel that the shaft can be move in sideway direction. If this is the case, the bearing has worn down. A badly worn bearing may release a lot of metal debris which is harmful to your engine to the piston/sleeve and combustion chamber. This is just a simple and quick way to check your engine bearing.

Sorry! I forgot to add one sentence.
As you know that the engine is very expensive. Take care with your engine.

Certainly not to you since you have prooven to know whatever there is to know about engines.
Dino is probably talking to mortals like myself who are thankfull for each and every tip we can get from a professional engine builder, even after racing for 20+ years.....

Hey stephan have I once mentioned your name or refered to you in this thread?Being that you are a mere mortal you sure do act omnipotent. If you truely are omnipotent you would know what I was saying to Dino as it was actually referring to a PM that we have been discussing. Dino is indeed a Very good Motorman and he has been helping me with something in particular. However as always you don't have all the facts nor even 1 answer just Diarrea of the Keyboard. Do yourself a Favor and go try to impress someone else because all you are doing is making yourself look stupid by following me around and trying to make me out as some know it all idiot I'm always the first to say that I am fairly new to Nitro R/C. Sorry dino if this taints the spirit in which this useful bit of advise was posted.
P.S. Venom Temp Gauge is Still working Great! I Think you have a fever Stephan why don't you take a body Cavity temp with your Tempgun?
