Default Can MTX3 spur & metal gears fit VOneRR Evo?

Any one tried that before?

I'd like to use the MTX3 gear ratio.

Wouldn't the EVO final drive ratios be the same as can be found on the MTX-3 with 0.8 pitch module gearing?

sorry i'm not familiar with mtx3, if it will fit i suggest you try it and check if you can get the gears mesh properly. take it for A test run, just be ready for the possibility of broken parts if in case. why not get the original parts so you'll be worry free of problems. interchanging of parts are sometimes good and bad so good luck on your experiment

I think you can fit the entire MTX 3 onto the EVO...
But my suggestion is to buy the EVO instead.....

MTX3 0.8 pinnion gears can run with RR Evo 0.8 spur gears on an Evo. The overall diameter of the pinnions will be smaller but the mesh is OK. As for putting MTX3 spur gears onto an RR???? that would be interesting...let me know how it goes...

Hi guys,

I've tried the Mugen pinion gear (21/29) with Kyosho spur gear.
Not bad! Man!

I was able to keep up with my friends' MTX3s on the long straight. If I had used only the Kyosho pinion gear, I would definitely lose on the straight.

Next week, I'm gonna try out on a small track.
