HPI RS4 3evo
Hello everyone, I am brand new to this hobby and look forward to many hours of enjoyment.
When I was trying to decide which car to purchase and start out with, I visited this forum to read threads and find out what other cars people were running. Thank you for participating in this forum as I found it informative and funny.
I finally picked the HPI Nitro RS4 3evo for my very first car. My reasons?...well the new roto-start for one...and the abundance of spare parts at my local Hobby store for another I am breaking in the engine as I type this and its hard not to just take the car out and run it.
So far I can say, the roto-start is fantastic (although I know its brand new) I will reserve final judgement until about 6 months from now. One minor item on the roto-start, it knocks some of the paint off the rear shock as you use it.
I looked at other cars, HPI R40, Mugen, Cen and came to the conclusion that my car was priced about right for someone learning to drive, tune, set-up and CRASH I look forward to actually racing this spring. I look forward to an educational year and look forward to reading everyones posts.
what was the quote I saw???.....belts are for pants.....I prefer giving the shaft?
