Default G.L.A.R.C.R.C. 2009 Points Series

We have the first of 6 rounds of the points series scheduled in 2 weeks, we want some racer input on weather or not to run a Sportsman class seperate from the experts. Post your thoughts and ideas on this thread

Thanks!!

This will be a very interesting racing season..Open class for all...masters, experts, prodrivers...put them all in one open class. This is a manufacturer's competition series..

I think if you get enough people to sign up,you should run a sportsman class. That would make it better for the people that are not experts. I'll be glad to run sportsman

Default SPORTSMAN

I think a sportsman class would be good, Because the sportsmans have a better chance of doing well within they're own class and not having to race with faster more experience racers in which have caused some less motivated new comers to quit our great hobby!!!!

If there is enough entrys(10 to 20) to run two mains I think we should have a sportsmans we just have be hard on the sandbaggers

Season opener for round #1 G.L.A.R.C.R.C. 2009 points series will be Sunday 3/22/2009 Track setup and practice Saturday 3/21/2009. Last week,We tried out the Toledo Ohio club's traction compound "recipe" using castor oil, mountain dew syurp, and methanol, let me tell you GRIP TO THE MAX and consistant all day, thanks guys.

This should be a lot of fun and we will run a sportsman class. The manufacturer's cup points should be a lot of fun as well, hope we see U guys there. We will be racing the following classes as part of the series:

1/10 electric and nitro sedan
1/8 4wd open
1/8 G.T.
1/5 STC
R/C Superbike Nitro and electric

We will also shorten the track for the electrics

We Be Racin!!

Where are the scheduled dates at the Transit Center posted? I obviously screwed up and went to the ATC yesterday to find out that I was the only one there.
