Here's an idea for next time, mount it on your car and when you want to snap a pic, jiggle the trigger!

Talking about pics, there were 3 pics of my car on the track taken by RC4fun phtographer during the heats. Nice.

Anyone knows when and where exactly the Asia Cup this year will be?

I've heard end of March.

I've also heard its going to be in East Malaysia.

Any final details? Its already mid-Jan now ... need to book and get cheap tickets!

Michael making last changes to the car before the start of the main.



Starting from the 11th position from the grid.



Concentrating hard during the race.



I think this was the first and only time Michael's car flamed out in the middle of the race. Mechanic trying to restart the car.



Race completed. A well deserving 4th finishing despite the lack of practise on the track.



A quick check showed that the front lower left arm cracked. This explained why Michael was complaining about the understeer he felt after the car crashed after the infield chicane... Oppphs



Michael's car after the race. A mere 3 port engine was used. No doubt a prototype from what we heard which one of the Singapore guys got hold of himself the same engine complete with pipe and Centax clutch as a lucky draw !!

Anyway, the speed of the engine was comparable with Suruth's 5 port NovaMax as neither cars pulled away from each other when both cars were side by side on the straights. Suruth's car was better in the infields.

Yes, this is the race I was referring to. I went to the one in Penang last year and got whooped because I was struggling to set the 705 up with rubber tyres.

On the other hand, the current Asean Champ also used a 705! Goes to show that not only am a bad driver but also bad a setting up a car!
