so that they are preconed when you start the race. if you run camber on your car and the tire you put on isn't cambered it will take some laps to come in. precambering avoids that.

don't use it not unless your tire wear has a cone on it. if your
tire wear is even from inside to outside. cut the tire according
to tire wear not how much camber you run on the car because
it does not reflect the actual angle of the tire under load on
turns
