what makes my car slow down?
it's a MRX 3X, at first i thought it was the drive belt that slow down the car but i already changed all 3 of them but it still very slow. what could be the problem? the engine is OS MAX RZ.

What do you mean by "slow down"? If it starts out fast but then slows down it is probably the engine overheating or maybe a clutch or two speed issue. If it's always slow it could be anything from the motor getting old, clutch and two speed problems, bad fuel, bad tuning, and the list goes on and on.

What makes my car slow down
Do you have any drag brake on it?
|
Check to make sure the brakes are installed correctly. I bought a used MRX4 off a friend and he had installed the pads backwards which caused them to get stuck on all the time. After I swapped them to the other sides, they worked perfectly.

friction....
try running the car on ice or a puddle of oil, it shouldnt slow down anymore :batman: |
maybe the carb isnt opening all the way.
|
Is the engine screaming but the car is slow? Clutch nut too tight?

friction
Sit the car on a flat surface(without the engine running), like a desk or even your kitchen table, and roll(push) the car back and forth by hand to see if you can feel or hear something like a bind. Then start to eliminate things. I would start by taking the motor out of the car, and repeating the "roll" test. From there side belt, etc. Keep looking you will find something.
