It's from Kyosho's Japanese web site. In the front page under "What's New" click on the first item which shows all the new products to be featured in the Shizuoka Hobby Show.

Looks like us 2003 evolva/delta xp4 owners really don't need to do too much modification if we want to upgrade to the 05 spec when it comes available. Plus the empire belt tensioner already does the belt tension adjustment.

I'm pleased Kyosho chose to make only subtle changes to it. I guess they thought why change something that works good? As far as I reckon its only a few things:

-pulleys, differnet internal ratio, higher or lower?
-new front bulkhead and arms- for wheelbase and 8 stage belt tension adjustment
-new tank lid- (I never knew there was anything wrong with it)
-new longer break lever.

Thats makes it really not much worth to buy a whole new kit, but might make for a few worthy extra hop ups in the future.

The Delta XP4 and Evolva are the same car? I did not know that, thanks!

Is the Evolva the same as the Fantom, but with upgrades and a name change or a whole different car?

There is quite a difference between the Evolva and the Fantom. The Evolva uses a few plastic parts from the old car but the chassis' are completely different.

When you will buy it and run with me? I felt you should play one eight and you will be faster than AKO(our friend). All of your driving style is just one-eight style. You will have more successes with one eight, believe me!

Dino, I am really tempted but I tell you it's EXPENSIVE. Just the tires cost more than twice as much as 1/10, not to mention the engine, and you know how fast I go through them!

As being faster than Ako, I doubt it. He is very very fast.

Jeff, the cost of running an 1.8 scale is dropping. You can get a set of tires for $30.00 now and get a fast mega- picco engine for about $330.00 with a pipe!

How or where did you get this figure from? How long do tires last?
