Jason
Thanks. I received your setup sheet e-mail today...I just had to go to my "suspect spam" folder and pull you out.

It seems to clear up the camber thing. 0g is with the car sitting on it's wheels on the bench (or in a Hudy setup thing-a-majiger). and 1G would be if you pressed the chassis to the ground (full bump)....at least that's my take on it.

Does anybody know if the Mrx-3 brake disc will fit in the Evolva?

Btw is any body using the Kyosho 4D centax clutch on the Evolva or maybe an Mrx-3 centax clutch. What are your thoughts?

Do the Mugen clutches fit in the Kyosho 4D centax?

Bye for now

Gus

Tower hobbies is the sole U.S. distributor of Kyosho (unfortunely).
They carry most of the parts and the rest are due in May. You can type in the part number in the search window on thier site. Tower can charge what ever they like because of this arrangement so you can only get a kit through them or a retailer who buys from them wholesale UNLESS... You order from Japan or Hong Kong. Champ RC in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan has all the parts and good prices on kits. RC-mushroom in Hong Kong probably has the same. Earlier in this thread there are a lot of conversations about this subject.
Because of Tower's (Hobbico's) arrangement as sole distributor I never see Kyosho in any hobby stores.....maybe Kyosho Japan should wise up to this.

Here in Hong Kong the Evolva is very popular. Very few chance in history that a 1/8 scale would be sold out and have a waiting list of people to get them. They are so hot that the local Serpent dealer have to lower the price of 950R by a whopping US$120- just to try to compete! You could imagine how much money that importer earn for every 950R they sell.... Because of that, a lot of my friends who drives Serpent even got more furious and wanted to switch, but the problem is lack of Evolva car kits and parts....

As to my car, I am using Mugen clutch and titbits of Mugen parts. For some parts like the clutch pinion and the linkages Mugen ones are more durable to wear, so I put these parts on my Evolva the minute when I assemble. When I put on the Mugen clutch, I have to shim it out by about 2mm so that the pinions could completely drive the main gears. However, I compared it with my friend's Evolva with the original 3D clutch and found not much control feeling difference between the Kyosho clutch and the Mugen clutch.....maybe its our fingers cannot tell the difference though...
