Default Carbon-Off perfect for cleaning pipe/manifold

Hey guys try this stuff it is the BEST i mean it. It's called Carbon-Off and it cleans the baked on oil and crud off metals (safe on aluminum), it's perfect for pipes.

I just used it on my pipe and manifold, and the baked on oil just literally wipes off. you just spray it on, leave it for 20-30 minutes and brush it off under cold water.

Looks like it would work good from the video they have. I found it in a few places but the cheapest I found it was at Devere, 2 cans for about $29 + shipping. Should last a long time if just doing pipe's....

Default cleaner

i'm telling you, my wife gave it to me yesterday she uses them for pots and pans, but it works like magic on the pipe and manifold. I cleaned mine this morning...

but let me tell you that you have to do it in a well ventillated area, just spray it on and it foams up and leave it for about 30 minutes or so depending on how old your crud is you may have to do it twice. Then use a brush or scotch pad and clean it under cold water. Oh yah make sure you wear gloves too.

We have been using it for over a year now. The stuff is amazing. Spray it on, leave it for about an hour, then brush it off under water. We spray it inside the pipe and use a long thin brush to clean the inside of the pipe as well. The pipe looks like new again. You can also buy it at Smart & Final stores.

Just don't get any overspray get on you! Still, It is awesome stuff for cleaning our exhaust. I still want to try a small crock-pot and antifreeze. Cleans the components inside and out.

I have done that with good results. You still had to shoot some brakeclean inside to break the carbon loose and flush it out. Also, the antifreeze changed the color of the aluminum to a dull, darker finish.

if you use a Crockpot with antifreeze set it on low heat and it does not dull the pipe. I cook them for two days and then rinse with. Hot water and us a Old tooth brush to scrub the inside.

it looks like new every race.

I use the same method at work to clean engines I get in for rebuild. I disassemble the entire engine and cook it for up to 3-4 days. Anything that's left comes off easily with some brushing. Definitely use low heat though to prevent discoloring. It makes 30+ year old engines look new!
