At the moment I'm using the Capricorn wheel axles on my NT1 and the clamping ring has all the space to stay in. They are very similar to the Velox' ones in the design.
The steering block of the NT1 is 12 mm large (4mm for each ball bearing and 4mm of space between them).
Capricorn's wheel axles have a 13.5 distance to allow to set the offset of the car. It means that there are 1,5mm to fill with some shims.

The V10 wheelaxles are 13.8-14.0 and they will fit the NT1 without a problem. You can also use the NT1 driveshafts with the V10 wheelaxle without a problem.
I already checked it when the V10 was released incase of the V10 wheelaxles being cheaper as the Capricorn one's but I decided to stick with the original stuff.
But the aluminum wheelaxles are pretty interesting, do hope the hardcoating is of good quality(not questioning Shepherd, but I've seen some very bad coatings and some very good one's, Hudy Tooling) because once that wears off the cvd pinhole will wear out in no time.

Standard wheel axle 6.6g! So the aluminum should be 60% less (read Shepherd home page) that means 2.7-3g in theory ...

Iīm just building my v10. Have you also got the problem, that the brake pads are grinding at the brake disc, so that the car dosnīt run free?

The brake spacing out of the box is tight. You can either:

Sand the pads slightly to increase clearance, this will require the pads to 'break in' though and braking power will be decreased until they 'run in'

Run the car for a few tanks working the brakes until they loosen up.

Either way when the brakes are 'run in' you'll only need about 30-35% travel. The brakes on the V10 are great and do not wear. You will have the same stopping power on the first lap and the last lap.

yeah i sanded mines, but realized tht after i ran the car a couple of times the spacing would hav been perfect from the natural wear..........

I would like to know if anyone could tell me what gearing comes with the stock kit. Trying to figure out which extras to order.

Also i was wondering how long are the hardened aluminum pinnions lasting. Im coming over from kyosho in which i used steel pinnions and they lasted forever. Just trying to get a general idea of what spares i need to order thank you.

Steel pinions last longer in any brand of car. Hardened will make your clutch bell lighter and pick up revs faster (less momentum).
