Hey,
the clutch is completely different. The V8 parts will not fit.
In the moment we only offer the standard black one as we are very happy with that one !! We tried some other and most of the time we went back to the black standard. If you wanna try something different sou can use the IDM / Capricorn clutch shoes, they offer yellow, green, blue and red i think ! They will nearly fit to the V10 clutch. But one more time, the black one is really a cool thing. You just need to play a little bit with the adjustments to make it fit to your style. What we use in the moment is a spring preload with approx. 0,3, a clutch bell gap of 0,50 to 0,55. This works pretty good so far.
One tech tipp for the clutch, as we realized that some pins of the flywheel are a little bended:
1- Dont use the "special tools" to tighten the flywheel, always use a big plier to hold the flywheel on the outside diameter to tighten the screw !!!
2- To make sure the clutch parts are moving freely i drill the holes as big as they have to be to move freely. Also this helps to get a better performance of the clutch.

H.A.N.D.

Default Weekend in Vegas

The weekend went by really fast but I learned a lot about the car. I first went out on Friday with the chevy Body and the eccentric flipped. Traction was moderate to medium. Car was a handful to drive... had tons of sterring but not a lot of rear bit. So I went to the R5 body and it calmed it down but I knew it was missing something. So I ran two qualifiers and was sitting fourth or fifth not sure, so i came back to the table and figured I might as well try something new; so I put the light grey springs in the front which are softer and I raised the rear roll center from the bottom to the middle and I put on a Stratus Body and went out and ran the last qualifier. The car was more consistent with this set up and going around the sweeper the rear of the car would not kick out. That run put me second behind Mike Swauger. I ran the same set up in the main and the car was really good, good enough to run with Swauger for the first part of the race then talent took over and I started making mistakes but was able to finish second about 11 seconds behind on the same lap as him so I would say it was a good weekend of racing. Didn't break one part the whole weekend and I traction rolled the car twice and had it slide into the outside boards. The other thing I did was I put set screws in the front and rear up rights to eliminate the axles from moving back and forth ....seem to make the car more planted going around sweepers. Just make sure you don't tighten them to tight on the bearings.

But all and all the car performed awesome, I need to get a hold of the main results sheet to see what my lap times were to compare.

NICE B.T. !!!! :-)
We are working hard on the new/updated uprights, so the play should be eliminated soon.
We also will have some talent to sell. There will be two packages for sale.
The medium sized one and the XXL sized talent box !! Prices will be published asap.

Hey BT, if possible email me some further information about that race.
