Default PARTS!

Good lookin out WINGRACER, another 1 for my fellow V10 pilots, Has anyone done any durability test on the plastics? I ran a NT1 and then a RRR after that, any they r both 2nd to none in the strenght of the plastics......I ask bcause I finished my build lastnight, but shepherds plastic kinda reminds me of the NTC3 material, very rigid but looks brittle.....I could b wrong I hope im wrong!!!

Check the President's Shield (BRCCC) results. One Shepherd (one out of two in the field I believe) did 148 laps in a 150 Lap race last night. This particular car was knocked out by another car in the middle stages and lost 8 laps, as the steering linkage had to be fixed. The race time was 7 minutes faster than the previous year, and could probably have been cut by another couple of minutes by this Shepherd, if not for the mishap. The other Shepherd also finished the race, without problems. It should perhaps be mentioned that a MTX4 was about as fast as the Shepherd in the early stages of the race, but as far as reliability goes; the Shepherds stood out.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

I only managed about 5 tanks through the V10 on practise on a track I have never raced on before (clockwise). If I recall, you spent a full day racing there in preparation for the Summer Nats.

By the way, I wouldn't talk about boards, the last time I saw your car there on Sunday, it had a broken bumper, broken body posts etc etc and a body that had more splinters in it then paint.

Hey Michael, I was pitting opposite Brad Davis and still managed a third, All this with a 2 year old car 2 year old motor, testing new body stripped gear and retreads. Beat that man.
Make sure your racing the syd GP in a few weeks.

I didn't personally have the prob, but if u check shep website, the upperdeck mount on the 1st batch of v10s were not designed to satisfaction, they show the old and new part and how to go about getting the new 1

Agreed with awins.

My car was 30grams under weight, all standard, with Sanwa 60g servos, 57mm tires, KO reciever. Had to stick weights inside the front bumper

This is a good problem to have!

My car weights 1720g ready to run. Picco evo3 mod., LiPo 1200mAh + regulator; Audi A5, 2x Futaba S9451, Sanwa rx 441ds, AMB ... I'm too heavy ... The TeamC parts are just fore the shine effect OK the mount for the steering servo is a must because the plastic holders from Shepherd don't do it!

Cheers
