What do you suggest to fix this problem?

I've got a favor to ask to one of the V10 drivers or to the guys from Shepherd
I'm currently busy with designing my own 1/10 onroad and I want to use the diff eccenters which are used on the V10, because they are simply superior to all other designs.
But since I don't (yet) own a V10 I can't take dimensions myself, so I would like to ask if someone could take them for me.
To make it easier I made a mock up of the part.
The dimensions are made up, so if someone could replace them by saying 40=...
8=...

If I have all the dimensions I know if the part will fit my design and I will be able to order the part.

Not sure if this applies to what you're trying to accomplish or not, but it looks like the mounting holes for the part are offset from the diff centerline in the manual. If they are, then I would think you need the distance between the diff centerline and the mounting holes centerline. No?

if i ever had this problem i used to get a large pair of pliers and distort the threads with them, only slightly, and this is usually enough to keep the clutch nut tight

Team RTR ask the boards at the track, they have a headache lol lol

He was enough to make the B final but not consistent enough to run it as he had no parts

JG, unfortunetly I don't have the support or luxury of pitting opposite a multiple Australian champion (and the most successful driver here) where I can copy setups and ask for advise, I am a loner with the V10, a virgin.

I only managed about 5 tanks through the V10 on practise on a track I have never raced on before (clockwise). If I recall, you spent a full day racing there in preparation for the Summer Nats.

By the way, I wouldn't talk about boards, the last time I saw your car there on Sunday, it had a broken bumper, broken body posts etc etc and a body that had more splinters in it then paint.

Can't comment yet really.

Raced on an extermly short tight track (laid on a tennis court). Never raced the track before. And didn't race the final due a parts issue.

I can say that after stripping the car down, everything looks great. Belts, spurs, pinions etc all look nice.

I am racing on my home track in two weeks, so I can compare lap times to previous cars I have driven, and have more of an idea of the setups that have worked in the past.

From the limited track time I had, the car feels very balanced, and has heaps of steering. I am sure that once I iron out some of the remaining bugs, the car will be quick! Just need about 3 or 4 race days with it....

The problem with XRays is sometimes that the cone protrudes past the inside of the flywheel. Use a file to make the cone shorter if that's the problem. And like Novarossi says; always use Locktight on the cone.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

About Ashford, I only see V8 parts listed right now but I bet Robert either has them or will have them soon for the V10.
