Hey Bro's
Anyone have any good tips or know how or what to do to get your pipe and header clean and looking new and shinny again ? Is there any polish or cleaner out there to use to clean but also protect from getting nasty ?

I know that if you boil your pipe and header in antifreeze that should clean it up and for protection RB PRODUCTS has a product that will help protect the pipe and header from tire foam and dirt good luck

If you use the crock pot method, use straight green antifreeze. First time I tried it with 50/50 premix and it turned everything black. It actually looks pretty cool though. Sort of like black chrome.

Thanks for that heads up Wingracer and too bad our pipes and hearders didnt come in black CHROME !! they they will look good all the time LOL

Cook pot (less then $15 @ Walmart) plus STRAIGHT anti-freeze (do not get 50/50 pre-mix....less then $10), cook pipe, engine blocks, headers or any aluminum metal piece over night, then rinse with water and wipe off dirt...works perfect.
Pipe/header will NOT be polished by using this methrod, this methrod will remove all the black stuff...you have to polish them by using polish compound...
