Hello Jamie,

This is Rich from Empire. I just ordered another 150 grips. They will be in stock in about two weeks. Black, not blue as before. The Kydex mounts are also back in stock. They do fit the Mugen.

Man is that customer service or what.

I believe that congratulations are in order. The word on the street is Rich is out of retirement and is racing again. From what I hear he already has serveral top teams looking to sponsor him. He also invites all comers to Northern Calfornia to try to take his track record a way from him. Winner takes all! ( Kinda like a death match) So how about it Barry Baker you got anything for him?

You the man Rich!

Actually, someone that races "wing cars" in slotcars is often called a wingracer as opposed to a scale racer. Back when I was running slotcars I got the license plate "WINGRCR" for my Firebird and have used it ever since.

Perfect. I knew there was an explanation.

During the "off-season" we have been working with an 1/8th electric buggy. The damn thing is hella fast. Not the same drama as gas - but, fast as a scaled dog. So, to occupy myself in the "dirt" I got a Slash. Have to say - been a blast.

Tomorrow at NorCal Hobbies they are having a "Slash enduro" Two hour race. 15 teams with three guys per team are expected. 45 guys - gonna be crazed. The enduro happens after the "regular race program" -- It should start at 4 PM ish

Gas season will be starting real soon. Looks to be an interesting year. Drama in Ohio!!!!

Rich, Jim and Scott won the 2 hour enduro and the CASH. But here is the best part, Team Empire Racing donated the entire winnings back to NorCal hobbies.

Thats a sign of a classy orginazation, team and good friends. You wont find a better group of guys anywhere, Period!

Steve, you neglected mentioning that - you, Kevin Jelich and your son (Team Denied), who finish right behind us (if they didn't have mechanical issues, they would have beat us) - donated your winnings to the Hobby Shoppe as well. So, right back atcha!

Good runs by both your teams. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get my Ramrod up in your business, especially with all those Johnsons hanging around my backside...
