Lightbulb Can You Indentify This, Please???

I just bought this, but have no idea what it is.My kid wanted something other than his hopped up ntc3 to tinker with. What is this setup? Thank you in advance for your advice.

It looks a lot like an old associated r/c 500, what ever itis good luck geting parts for it.

Yeah, it's the 1/8 scale Associated RC500 2WD, with that unique front shocks layout... Dun think anyone runs them anymore..

Default rc 500

looks like it has the optional graphite chassis. Still have a few parts and associated crank 6 port ronnie motors for that car.

Don't mention it.... There is a 4WD and 2-Speed conversion kit for this way back then. But dun know whether anyone have them anymore in stock now.

sounds like a fast car in its time. did someone mean they have the motor for this car?

I already found the 4wd conversion, the 4wd chassis and the gears, bearings and driveshafts. so far.

A World Champion in it's time! This is one of the last true RC car! Where more hands-on experience is needed for building it. I believe some dremeling and filing is needed to fit in the conversion kit. Well, Enjoy building your kit!........
