I need to know what type of hex or pin or whatever type of rim/wheel size he needs so he can go out and get some.
Oh and by the looks of it he is going to be breaking a few parts along the way so where to find parts for this (I think it is discontinued.)

Being that this is a nitro car, any 1/10 scale sedan (nitro) rims should work. I would suggest the HPIRacing drift tires. Tamiya and Yokomo make drift tires as well but these are probably easier to find.
Just be sure he's getting Nitro(Hard rubber), not Electric(Plastic) Drift tires. He'll also have to set up his camber and toe-in on the car to get any kind of controllable drifts. That's another whole topic.
