So so... I can built like a wild think, and I will be running my engine in the weekend... poor neighbours.... I feel for em... I am missing some parts, I may call the guy here in SA and buy the parts, it will be quicker, I wont need to worry about the time it takes to get here from Holland.

And it works on other bodies too:

Kevin, you've just brought me to the idea to convert my 705 into a GTP machine!!!! I was wondering what I'd do with the 705 I've got most of the bits anyway. I have a new chassis which has never been used, the GTP bumper and front shock tower!

This should be good!

Thanks Kevin

Default PT mount

I made a plastic bracket mount so there would be no aluminum or carbon fiber to lessen the signal return. In the past I have had problems so instead of losing a lap or two I decided to make this so there wouldnt be a problem.

Not on a track. I was supposed to race last Friday night but I ran into the same problem as you are having....it was rained out. I am planning on trying it out this Friday night weather permitting. It is a short technical track so I will be using the solid axle up front. There is a big race at Full Throttle Speedway that Marcos710 is attending but I will unfourtantly miss out due to mothers day. My daughter was born one year ago last Saturday so my wife being able to collect on Mothers Day finally would not go unpunished if I were to race. I could race but I might not have a chance to make more (babies with her) later so I will have to wait a year or to more for the newness to fade of being a Mother.

My thoughts exactly, I can't part with my 705, it would feel like selling a child! And it would be a shame to keep it sitting at home. I have even added the 4mm chassis, Nova 52605 "turbo" exhaust and some other bits since I got the 710... Just the weight refuses to go outlaw.
I'll try to make some more pics and put them in the 705 thread.

Great!

I've just swapped my chassis from the original to the 4mm version - man it was really quick to do - only took like 15 mins or so! The bumper I have is actually from the Impact - maybe I'll order the real 705 part though Hmmm, my old 12SX engine is very slow Now, where is the web address for the Border guys

Hmm tricky

Rain is playing a major part in my not testing the 710 it started last night and still hasn't stopped I've got friday and monday off, so I can get some good track time in, but it's looking really bad weather wise I may cancel

Default Building the Perfect Centax-3 Clutch

Hi all,

Armed with a lot of knowledge gained from many many people, I have written an article on myTSN about building the 'perfect' Centax-3 clutch.

You can find it at:
http://www.mytsn.com/publ/publ.asp?pid=10063

Hopefully this will help people get the best performance out of their clutch and car.

Cheers!
