Yes. The track looked short but I ended using a 4.9 FDR with 63 mm tires.

Keat Seng was fastest amongst all of us ... especially in the infield.
The organizers could not participate because they were busy and besides, they did not want to make it seem like it was a home advantage kind of track.

Who won in this race?
Steven with NTC3. He was the better driver throughout the race.

I need to look your set-up closer ... wondering how you managed to get equal wear with those set of tyres!
In fact, the tire wore out 1 mm smaller everytime in front all the time !

Yup. Looks like that's the only thing to do to correct your problem assuming that you got the clutch shoe to clutch bell spacing around 0.4 to 0.7 mm.

Are you using the stock 1.7 mm softer Centax spring or are you using the 1.8 mm Centax II spring?

What we do with our rc-cars is beyond playing, i don't even call it a hobby, it's to expensive . I just think it's part of my way of living

Sidenote:
We had clubrace yesterday. Finishd 6 in C-final because of an 1st-gear that needed to be replaced just when i was leading Still good race and i'm ready for the next one.
Also Julius won the A-finale

If I recall correctly, it was 63.5 mm rear and 62.5 mm front.

Woow ! You guys started playing already in the cold weather?

Julius won again? This is getting boring !

Hey, did Julius post any of his setups?

Well, sorry to hear what had happened to you. Same thing happened to a friend of mine (same main as me) and was leading all the way when his receiver pack dump ! He did not top up before going to the 20 minute main.

Me? I put in the wrong receiver pack which I thought I had already charged. It turned out it was about to dump also ! I started with already 2 laps down and shaken on the driver's stand and trying to recover from all the things that had gone through...

Default Kent IC Club Summer Series

We had our 1st round of the summer series this weekend, I qualified 3rd and totally kicked butt in the final with the only 710 on the track. Set-Up wise I lowered front roll centre with 4mm under pivot point, 0mm caster, 2nd hole on rear shock tower and UTI on the rear roll centre, this totally cured the off power understeer and the car was really consistent throughout the 30 min final even with heavy rear tyre wear, 42 shore front, 40 shore rear solid front axle.

This is my 1st race win and I'm still grinning now.

I love this car!!!!!!!!!

I am sure, I will be racing soon, I found a track real close to home that I can practice on, it is very small and tight, I will have pics soon...

Cheers D, the setup is on MyTSN, here's the link Summer series setup or if preferred I can reproduce it here.

Once I get the full final results emailed to me I'll update the setup.
