I don't think anybody sells NovaMax piston sleeve here... If they do, they cost a bomb ! Just get a Novarossi NS based piston sleeve and put it in the NovaMax and you should be fine. Don't get NSR type because the piston sleeve wears out faster...

damn exchange.

oh well...i have to buy new engine anyway...i do like Nova max type...served me well. never got me into problem. so i hope my next engine will be the same character again. im not a tuner...always depends on others...

Why not get JP-FX engine? Their ceramic bearings are good and they last pretty long.

But of all engines, I really like the Novarossi RRL5 engine.

If that's the same guy you're referring to, then that's because something is wrong with the engine tuning. Not because of anything else. My opinion anyways...

It's actually a plain engine by Novarossi. Not modded or anything but the bottom end is fantastic because it is a long stroke engine compared to the NS/NSR short stroke.

Yes, just ask them to order an RR12L5 engine. Should be around the same price range as a normal NS/NSR engine.
