5 minutes per heat...and yes it was 2-3mm on the front for the whole day.

and the track surface was still new 'bituminous asphalt layer' that must have contributed to the minimal wear..imo

might i add that i'm not an aggresive type of driver ... i stick to my line ...full throttle ,release throttle...in or out of corner..then full throttle again...rarely use my brakes too...esp with the fr one way

There you go then . . . learn to use brakes. It might not get you the full half second, but you'd be on the way.

It is hard to say without seeing your track but TR is correct. If you are using a oneway and not braking at all, then I would say you should be able to make up close to half a second of a lap with using your brakes

Are you sure you only lost 3mm on the tyres after an hour of driving with 37 tyres? That doesn't sound right?

I ran the highest front roll center and red springs allround and 30wt snake oil. Man did the car turn. Very fast to react and held mid corner speed nicely... washed a bit of speed past mid corner. I think through too much grip.

Switched to 40 shore all round (up from 35's) and the car held corner speed a lot better.

More testing tomorrow...
sparksy, do you have a pic of your track or a schematic of it. Would be interesting to see it just for a mental note.

You only need to ask mate.

Post it there in a few minutes.

Note that you can post it to the "Public" album without using your own quota.

I've seen it all now and I'm after revenge!!!

Mind you, I nearly went into the fence when we were both on the straight and your 5 port thingy blitzed past my little JP FX 3 port - an impressive amount of power has that 5 port
