Ok, the stock front shock rod/pin is way too fragile!! Anyone use shock rods other than the stock? I broke 3 of them each day!

would you mind taking close up pics of the rear "active" suspension? (ie. lower rear front wishbone)

lawndoggie, perhaps Serpent needs to come out with a lawndoggie version of the shock shafts !

But seriously, the shafts are OK. At least if you stop hitting the knuckles / shock shafts against the boards and walls.

Thaasman, I was just messing with ya... I know that it's cold over where you're at and I thought that I poked fun at you not being able to run the car even after you finished building it ! Anyway, all is good.

Ummm, shouldn't the car be under the Christmas tree?

I dont think you will get a different answer other than your servo is too big.

Same thing when the 705 and 835 came out... they are not designed to run the older bigger recievers.

ok.. it is a little one..

But that was the answer we got from serpent when the futaba recievers wouldnt fit the 835 without some milling work to the chassis.. and they were the small ones at the time.

Why exactly wont it fit? Can you modify the holder? Can you take a pic of the holder without the reciever and cover on it?

if i put on the protector on the holder, the crystal of the reciever is in the way,and the connectors,if you turn the reciever, the holder is in the way

I personally would cut the cover to clear the xtal and connectors. Might not be the best option though.

You could try the cover from the Mugen MTX.. some of the Kyosho guys are running them on the V-one R evo....

Or you could simply not run the cover at all.

Or you could make one to fit out of some thicker lexan or styrene.
