I had a collari engine in my Nitro TC3... I kid you not, the car would hop off the ground for a second when I gave it full throttle...The only problem was that the compression was so high, that I had problems starting my car with my bump box (14.4 Volts)...It was fast, but hard to get working...

I had a picco which was nice, easy to tune and started every time...the only problem is that It hit it's peak HP at low RPM and I had a big track...to make a long story short...I broke the piston by over heating...I had an OS...it also was easy to tune and good for a long track...but not enough Hp to keep up with the fast guys...The collari was 5 port, 1.39 HP...very fast, but hard to tune, I also could have used a stronger starter box for it...I would get another one...it was fast...

I have a rossi pixi 5pt. Boy, is it great, smooth and awesome power. Its really tuner friendly, go for that!!!!

If u wanna know about Collari's talk to SP Racer i'm pretty sure he's had no end of trouble with his. I think you'll find the carbs aren't great and don't have enough RPM for big tracks. Might be usable for <Medium size tracks though.

please stop crapping on my threads. i asked about the collari, not a rossi - i have owned a rossi before and didnt like it. u mention that engine in ever thread i post. trust me - i am not a newbie. please stop hijacking my threads.

The Lauro Collari-Innotech engines is what you are looking for.
They are Picco based engines, with some mods by L.Collari
That particular engine you are asking for is based on the Picco
XP-12, and called XS-12 by Collari.
I have one this season here in my country, and the engine is highly competitive with any Nova based engine, but had to ditch the original carb and fit on a Nova carb. Duration not on par with the Novas, but hell this is racing. More low end than the Novas, with same high end. Holds great at high temps, and had no problem with it after carb change. I even won a heat this last sunday and was winning the second but tire problems held me back, and maneged a 3rd overall.
