i use LI Fe battery, no reg needed. gas cooler, i fit near the exhaust, i stand my throttle servo up, so the holes for the reciever on the other side, i put my cooler there. i dont use a switch , just plug the battery straight in to the reciever, or put a short extension from reciever to the outside, and plug in the battery there.

i'm using the same LiFe battery, however you'll find that the tank will sit slightly higher at the rear side.

i found that the front drive shaft pins and rear dog bone pins are of different sizes. i've replaced my rear pins and when i tried using the pins for the front, it'll be loose.

Do most of you guys stick with 1500 and 2000 cst oils or do you run regular silicone oils. Or lower CST oils....
I am used to running 40wt - 60wt losi oils. This CST thing for me is like learing a new language..LOL
Thanks for the help.

Serpent 6000
it is a Serpent 6000. Boy does this car bring back good memories.
This was a very good car. You could put a rear differential in it or run it with a straight axle rear end. It was tough but the arms would get soft when the weather was really hot.
The last time I ran one was at the Snowball Rally in Nashville, TN (many many years ago). A weather front came though and the temperature dropped into the high 30s and it was brutal. Hight winds and very cold conditions. Due to the cold, the BMT cars would essentially explode when they touched the wall but not the 6000. I had mine set-up with a read diff and it was the way to go with the cold weather and fine salty silt from a big pile of salt stored near-by.
This was the last great race that the Nashville Club had. I think that they had 80 entries and I was fortunate enough to win the race.
Great memories - great car!

TC is alittle bit easier to handle even without other's help. And you can race that even with parking lot track. And they usually don't break as bad as 1/8th due to the size and speed because you might be running on a smaller track.
1/8th is like 2X the $$$ on 1/10th....in my opinion only. However, both 733 and 966 are top notch racing machine for sure. So does the brand SERPENT.
