Thank you Serpent for an awesome performing and reliable car

Default Parts Availability ??

Gentleman,
I am considering of purchasing a 1/8 scale just not sure what to go with, however I would like to get a car that parts are not an issue and always available. How is part's availability in general for serpent cars, easy to get plenty in stock??

Thank you
Armed

Well the most important aspect of 966 is that its easy to drive and it does not complain if you have parts failling of or put in the wrong way.

I know I have done it

I raced last weekend with the 966. Due to my inexperience with 1/8 scale cars I made some building errors but still managed to make the best lap of the race.

I had the front sway bars adjusted 90 gerees to each other,
the rear left sway bar came off,
I had a broken exaust spring but the broken side got stuck on the sway bar brace so the exaust didnt come off
forgot to adjust the tweak
forgot to adjust the brake
I also forgot to put the wing on the body

I broke my clutch bell that kept me 29 mins on the table but the car was stable most of the time until the rear sway bar came off that it was handful but still drivable.

next race will be better as I know what is wrong so I can prepare accordingly..
