Hello,
Have you had problems with mounting the 966? For me forward with due observance of the code of the record (top 2.4mm, bottom 1.5mm), my Gimbals are tight and secure.

Thank you for your response

Sorry for my bad english

Default WA 2009 state tiltles

Finally had a weekend with ok weather to get to drive the 966. didnt have to touch the car at all, it just worked , and worked well. TQ, new lap record, and till a steering servo had issues, was in the lead with about 4-5 mins to go. car was great, the rear end is just a dream, 110% happy with the new car, the serpent is the first 8th scale to get into the 14's at the track. just awesome drive.

It will not make you any faster, but together with a Mega ZX engine, a R&B INSbox, this will really look cool!...

Questions??

To upgrade an OS1 960 07 to 966 what I need? Upgrade kit is for 960 08. As I know there are OS2 upgrade sets for front and rear suspension. What else do I need? On Serpent website it says upgrade kit is for OS1 and OS2 suspension. Does that mean I only need the 960-08 to 966 upgrade kit for my OS1 960 07?

Thanks

Yes, your right.

Don't get the upgrade kit from 960'07 to 960'08, because you will get a chassis with it you will also get in the 960'08 to 966 upgrade kit.

If I'm right, get a front and rear 960'08 suspension set (903253 and 903255), the V2 break system (903280) and the 966 conversion kit (903326). Yes, then you have the 966 on OS1...
Depending on the amount of OS1 rims you still have, maybe it is better to just buy a 966 kit....

Default Serpent 966 Wins Capitol Classic

My car was dialed up the hole week i was fighting for the TQ with Joaquin Desoto but at one turn to go i got tangled with a lapped driver and ended up qualifying 2nd.

At the main i took the lead immediately and by the end of the first lap i was ahead of the second place by half of the straightaway but an accident made my car difficult to drive (due to a broken rear sway bar) but it was still good enough to grab the win and finish 10 good seconds ahead of the second place.

Thank you Serpent for an awesome performing and reliable car
