I had to lossen the left side gear and slide the shaft over. Well after all that I changed the shift point and put the car back out first lap was good and hit the straight on the second lap and off went the E clip, gears, gear spacer and pin. I found everything but the gear spacer and pin, are these parts available yet without buying the whole two speed kit.
When you put the 2 speed back together, make sure you leave a minimum of .5mm of side to side play on the 2 speed shaft.

no its alot softer. i ran , well still run it for my EP car. but when the 966 went to the single screw underneath for the steering post, the CSO chassis in a crash bent the chassis underneath after a mild crash so the steering post was bent backward on an angle. i bent it back straight, then put the older radio tray back on and used the top screw again.

PF R15B and Blitz R11, of course depending on how far forward you mount them.

Dear Stefan,

Thanks for your response. What is the maximum, how far forward that I can mount these 2 shells?

I am presently running the Protoform P909 with 20mm forward. Will be trying 30mm forward next. Wud like to more Off Power Steering, if possible.

Best Regards.

@HPC
Off power steering or turn in i suppose you mean.

Best not to mount to much forward just for turn in because you will get a nervous car on high speed. Maybe you can try the next;
- front stabi harder,
- front shock harder,
- front spring harder,
- rear droop less, let the rear lift with braking
- front droop more, let the front stick to the asfalt
- front lower rideheight,
- rear higher rideheight,
- front shore less (30),
- rear shore harder (37) in stead of 35,
- rear stabi harder (gets much more steering),
- rear shocks harder(spring, oil, or more vertical)

Try it and see what you like because there are also other effects wich maybe you don`t want. Hope it helps you. You can also

Download setup book from the best brand in the market with the best support
in the world.

ok folks I have one last problem with my 966TE. on the caster settings in the manual it shows two (4mm) spacers behind the upper arm and a (2mm)+(1mm) spacer in the front of the upper arm, with that done I have a little less than (1mm) of space left is this normal.

I normally try to fill the gap with another shim, if it's too thick I will sand it down a little so it will not bind the upper arm.
