i have been running that same setup, plenty of steering and lots of rear grip.
try the new shock extension set, and possibly see where your front sway bar is at. try softer front tyres and softer rear bar, but its way different to 12th scale. the solid axle at the rear makes the cars hard to rotate in slow corners, so you need to have a good clutch and drive it around the corners using throttle.

966 Setup
First I would try running a softer shore in the front, so go to 32f 35r. THen try running the front sway bar flat, a harder sway bar will take steering away. One thing you can do which will have the biggest effect is to run the rear lower arms higher, when you run it higher it takes rear traction away, which will give you more front bite. Also, add more shims under the rear camber link, that will also give you less rear bite, it makes the rear of the car rotate easier. ANother thing is to run the W2 rear knuckles, they also make the rear rotate more.

Dont try all at once, go one change at a time. Like I said, try the softer tires in the front first, and go from there.

One thing about you is that you're comparing it to a 1/12th scale, and those cars always have way too much steering.

W2 offset knuckle:

As much as it sucks, you really need good servos for 1/8th, these cars are FAST. Just save the money and get some good ones the first time out, it will save you money in the long run.
