Default OS cv-rx .12 leaking oil profusely(HELP)

hey guys.just bought a os cv-rx .12 for my NTC3 and was running today and noticed oil all over the bottom of my chassis.there is also oil all over the left side of the engine(header side).i checked header screws first and they were tight.i cant figure out where the oil is coming from.has anyone else had this problem and if so how do i fix it.thanks in advance.

try replacing your manifold gasket. i dont really like stock AE gasket (the green ones) as i find them kinda weak and rips easy. kyosho and ofna makes decent ones and if you can find those they will work better than AE gaskets.

its more than likely your header gasket...or your coupler check them both to make sure

guys it looks like its coming form around the pull start housing.

bud,I have to be honest...I haven't had that problem....the pullstart bolts on tight,so I'm not sure how the oil could get out....oil does manage to seep out the crank,thats how the one way bearings eventually slip in the pull start.....but its contained inside the housing....

try cleaning the motor,and trace it that way..you'd be suprised how oil travels around a motor while running.....look at the front bearing...and keep an eye on the exhaust gasket,like the guys said..

also,if the engine is really running rich at break in settings,the cv's can leak quite a bit of fuel out of the front bearing..
