If I'm not mistaken, MTX-2's are not pull start. Is there any way to add a pull starter? What kind of starter will I need? My current car is pull start, and I have never used a starter box before.

MTX-2 are rear exhaust and will not accept a pull start. Get the starter box, its well worth the money.

Most starter boxes will work with most cars. I use a 1/8 scale universal box, that can be used for either on or off road depending how u install the motor. Make sure to set the guides so locating the starter wheel will be easy.
