Best on-road for under $350
My friend is going to get an on-road. I am not expierence with onroad so I need your opinions. He won't be racing just against me and a few other people. He was looking at the Traxxas nitro 4-tec and nitro tcs. So can I have some opinions.
Thanks, Jim

Hi
Are you looking for rtr kits or a kit you can build. I've heard far as rtr kits the ntc3 is good and the yokomo rtr is ok.If hes looking to upgrade to a build kit you can get the mugen mtx 3 w/mr .12 and rex pipe for $499.99 at ultimate ,plus electronics and body
Thats a deal for what you get .I think thats the price anyway.
Might want to check it out but the others are good to.

Hes looking for an rtr. His limit is 400 but he needs to buy a glow starter and fuel. So about 350 for the car. I have heard that the Nitro rs4 3 is a great bashing car and is more durable which he will need cause this would be his first rc. I told him to get that and a 2 speed and some more option parts.

I have a Traxxas N4Tec and it's very fast... I've never broken anything on it except for the one way starter bearing but I was getting rid of the EZ start on it anyway... The Traxxas 2.5's in the new one's are very fineky though...

get an ld3. you cant go wrong with a two speed and a failsafe. plus its just like a ntc3 but better because of the the options they have included already installed, plus its cheaper then a ntc3. the ld3 is the way to go

i would say go with the ntc3 you would be happy.. or the ofna ld3 would be great to..

if he gets the new 2.5 4 tec he will be mad...the 2.5's are a bugger to tune...and no matter where you set it still over heats makes you very mad...

Preety much depend on where you lives. Team Magic G4 Eclass (competition level) cost only USD250 in Indonesia. You still have spares for other things. Or get the C Class for only USD200.
