From own experience I would not advice a high RPM engine for bashing, running hunreds of meters up and down through the street will not give a long life.

Question..

What are those 4 plastic pieces on your engine?

Hey, no offense to the seller but, for a used JL, price seems kinda high. I mean, why not spend the extra few bucks and get a brand new one?

You can get parts for either on many sites. Check the many threads on the Red Dot, you will be happy with it. I am a basher not a racer, but if you want to race I can do that too.

I dont know where you are from. But for a bashing/competitive engine, you cannot look anywhere else than the JLR Red Dot. Sam at Kamikaze Toys and Hobbies has an unbeatable price... www.kamikazetoysandhobbies.com

You are right, it is my Traxxas jato and the head is not totally protected from flips and rollovers like the 1/10 scale on road cars.
